Decks
Decks present cards the way you’d hold them at a real table — as stacks you flip through, front and back, rather than a flat list. They’re great for prep: leafing through every spell of a class, or every ability a monster type can throw at your party.
The deck browser
Section titled “The deck browser”Open Decks from the sidebar to reach the deck browser. From here you can:
- Filter by card type — All, Features, Abilities, Items, Spells, Monsters, Actions, Classes, Traits
- Search Cards — find a card by title
- Flip cards — click a card to turn it over and read the back
Themed decks
Section titled “Themed decks”Alongside the browser, dedicated decks collect one kind of card each, drawn from the D&D 5e Compendium:
- Spells — every spell card, flippable front and back
- Items — equipment and item cards
- Classes and Class features — class cards and the features they grant
- Monster abilities — monster special abilities, actions, and stat blocks
- Skills — a rules reference deck; click a skill’s ability badge to read what that ability score covers
Decks at the table
Section titled “Decks at the table”Decks are for browsing and prep. To actually play a card during a session, attach it to a character first — from a character sheet you can add cards from the compendium, and they become playable in any live scene. Print your decks
Section titled “Print your decks”Card Print-and-Play export — print-ready card sheets you can cut out for your physical table — is part of the Collector tier. Today the Print & Play PDF button lives on the Compendium screen.
