“Wrong email or password”
Section titled ““Wrong email or password””For security, this message doesn’t say which part is wrong. Check for typos in the email first — then, if you’re sure the email is right, reset your password (below).
If you see “Too many attempts. Please wait a minute and try again.”, you’ve hit the rate limit — wait a minute before trying again.
Resetting your password
Section titled “Resetting your password”- On the sign-in page, click Forgot your password? (or go to
/forgot-password). - Enter your account email and click Send reset link. You’ll see the same confirmation whether or not the email matches an account — that’s deliberate.
- Check your inbox and spam folder, then open the link and set a new password. You’re signed in right after.
If the link shows “Link expired”, it’s been used already or sat too long — click Request a new link and use the fresh email. You can request a new link once per minute.
Verification email never arrived
Section titled “Verification email never arrived”If sign-in says “Please verify your email before signing in.”, your account exists but the confirmation link was never opened. The link expires in 24 hours.
- Check your spam folder for the confirmation email.
- On the Check your email page shown after sign-up, click Resend email (available again 60 seconds after each send).
Locked out of two-factor
Section titled “Locked out of two-factor”The Two-factor verification screen accepts either:
- the current 6-digit code from your authenticator app, or
- a recovery code — click Use a recovery code instead and paste one of the ten codes you saved when you enrolled. Each works once, and using one turns two-factor off, so re-enrol from Settings → Security afterwards.
If a 6-digit code is rejected, wait for the next one — codes rotate every 30 seconds.
Google or Facebook sign-in fails
Section titled “Google or Facebook sign-in fails”The sign-in page offers Continue with Google and Continue with Facebook. If the provider bounces you back with an error, try again — most failures are one-off hiccups on the provider’s side. Make sure you’re using the same provider you originally signed up with.
