The turn tracker

While a fight is running, a floating strip of portraits sits over the map so nobody has to open the sidebar to see whose turn it is. It appears as soon as combat starts with at least one combatant, and disappears when the fight ends.

Each combatant gets a round portrait with its initiative badge underneath and its name below that. The order matches the roster in the Combat panel.

What you see What it means
Larger, glowing portrait with a coloured ring It is this combatant’s turn
Slightly dimmed neighbours The turns immediately before and after
Greyed portrait with a skull, name struck through Marked as defeated
Small coloured dots under the name Conditions on that combatant — up to four, then a count. Hover a dot for its name
A small eye-with-a-slash badge Hidden from players. Only the GM sees this — and only the GM sees hidden combatants at all

The strip scrolls sideways when there are more combatants than fit, and it scrolls itself to the active portrait each time the turn changes.

Clicking a combatant pans the camera to its token, so you can find whoever is up without hunting across the map. If you are the GM, clicking also sets that combatant as the active turn.

GMs can right-click a portrait for the same menu as the roster row — set the turn, pan to the token, open the linked sheet, roll or clear initiative, mark defeated, hide, or remove from combat. See Managing combatants.

The chevron on the left of the strip (“Collapse”) shrinks it to a single line showing a swords icon, Round N, and the current combatant’s portrait and name. Expand it again with the chevron on the right (“Expand carousel”).

Expanded, the round shows compactly as R2 in the left-hand rail.

GMs get a Next button on the tracker in both the collapsed and expanded layouts — the same action as Next in the Combat panel, so you can drive the whole fight without leaving the map.
