Sections and pinning

Once a collection outgrows a single wall of cards, break it up. Sections are tabs inside one collection — Act One, The Party, Handouts — and the tools beside them cut the view down further.

The tab strip sits under the collection’s name. All shows everything; each other tab shows one section.

  1. Click the + at the end of the tab strip.
  2. Name the section, add a description if it helps, and pick a colour — the dot shows on the tab.
  3. Click Create.

Hover a tab and a ••• appears: Edit to rename or recolour, Delete to remove the section.

New items land in whichever section tab you’re on when you click Add Items, so switch to the section first and add straight into it.

Above the items:

  • All types — narrow to one kind of thing. Only the types actually in this collection appear in the list.
  • All tags — narrow by a tag carried by the items themselves. This only shows up when something in the collection is tagged.
  • Title / Type / Added — click to sort by that. Click the same one again to flip between ascending and descending; the arrow tells you which way it’s running.

The two small buttons on the right switch the view:

  • Grid — big cover art. Click a card to expand it for the description, tags, notes, and a View button that opens the original.
  • List — compact rows with a type badge, quicker for a long shelf. Items carrying a note show a small note chip you can hover to read.

Pin an item to flag it as one that matters:

  • Grid — open the item, click Details, and choose Pin (or Unpin).
  • List — hover the row and click the pin icon. It turns gold once pinned.
