Using assets across Postroll

Wherever Postroll asks for an image, you’ll get the same three choices: Library, URL, or Upload. Pick from your library and the asset is placed — no re-uploading, no duplicates.

  • VTT scenes — battle maps, tokens, and overlay images. Uploading your own battle maps needs Booster.
  • Boardsimage nodes and board covers.
  • Cards — face art and artwork on your card designs.
  • Wiki pages — cover images and inline pictures in the text.
  • Actors — portraits and their scene tokens.
  • Worlds and entities — cover art.
  • Your profile and Outposts — avatars, cover images, banners, and galleries.

Select an asset in the Asset Manager and open its details panel. Below the file info you’ll find its placements — the scenes, cards, pages, and boards that currently use it. If other people use an asset you’ve shared, you’ll see an anonymized summary like “Also used in 3 other places across 2 worlds”.

The same information protects you at delete time: Postroll warns you when an asset is still placed somewhere before you remove it.

Click Analytics at the top of the Asset Manager to open /app/assets/analytics. It answers “how far has my work spread?” with:

  • Headline numbers for the period — purchases, times added to content, what’s in use right now, and how many worlds and people are using your assets.
  • A chart of uses and purchases over time, plus your most-used assets.
  • A per-asset table (purchases, in use now, worlds, last used, remixes) you can sort, search, and export as CSV.
  • A detail page per asset showing where it’s being used.

Asset analytics is part of Creator & audience analytics on Collector.
