The pin index
Making a marker is easy. Finding it again six sessions later is the part most tools skip.
This map’s pins
Section titled “This map’s pins”Open the Pins tab in the scene sidebar. You get every pin you are allowed to see, with:
- Search across names and notes — press / to jump into it.
- Filters — all, mine, hidden (GM), or only the ones that link somewhere.
- Sorting — newest, A–Z, or by what they open.
- Hover a row and the pin wakes on the map, so you can see where it is before you go there.
- Click to fly to it; double-click to edit.
Every pin in the world
Section titled “Every pin in the world”In your world’s Atlas, switch the side rail from Maps & boards to Pins. It gathers pins from every battle map in the world, grouped by the map they sit on, while whatever you had open in the main pane stays where it is.
- Search with the box at the top of the rail — it looks through names and notes.
- Filters — all, only the ones that link somewhere, or hidden (GM).
- Click a pin and it takes you straight to its map with the pin already open.
This is the prep view: what have I written down, where, and what does it point at.
Links back from your wiki
Section titled “Links back from your wiki”A pin that points at a record shows up on that record’s page under its appearances — so from a place or a person you can see which maps mention it and jump to the exact spot.
- Open a pin’s editor and link it to a record.
- Open that record.
- Its appearances list now includes the pin, linking back to the map.
