Following & play presence
Your profile is a full picture of the games you’re in and the characters you play — and other people can follow it. You can follow a player, any character in their public portfolio, a game, or an Outpost, all from the same Follow button.
Your wall
Section titled “Your wall”Your profile has a Wall — a timeline of your posts, like a feed. It combines two things, newest first:
-
Posts you write straight to your wall. On your own profile a composer sits at the top of the Wall. Pick an Audience for each post:
- Public — anyone who can see your profile.
- Followers only — people who follow you (approved followers if your profile is private).
- Only me — just you (a private note-to-self).
Use the Art tab in the composer to share an image — you can upload one (drag-and-drop) or paste an image URL. Followers get a notification when you post (unless it’s Only me), and you’re notified when someone likes or comments on a wall post.
-
Posts you made in your Outposts. These pull in automatically, each labelled with the Outpost it came from.
Only you post to your wall. Other people engage by reacting and commenting — they can’t post to it themselves. Visitors only ever see what they’re allowed to: a followers-only post stays hidden from non-followers, an only-me post is yours alone, and Outpost posts keep their original members-only / tier / private rules.
Show what you’re looking for
Section titled “Show what you’re looking for”Settings → Profile has a Play presence section:
- Looking for a game? —
Not looking,Open to invites, orActively looking for a game. The choice shows as a chip on your public profile so GMs and players know whether to reach out. - Show my games on my profile — on by default. Turn it off to hide your games / play history even on an otherwise-visible profile. Characters you pick below still show.
- Character portfolio — pick up to 24 of your characters to show publicly. These are the only characters other people can see and follow; everything else stays private.
- Go to Settings → Profile and scroll to Play presence.
- Set Looking for a game? and the Show my games toggle.
- Tick the characters you want in your public portfolio.
- Click Save play presence.
Following someone
Section titled “Following someone”Open a profile, character, or game page and click Follow (a game shows Follow game). Following a public or unlisted profile takes effect immediately.
Your profile also shows a Played together ×N badge to anyone who’s shared a table with you, plus your follower count.
Follow requests (private profiles)
Section titled “Follow requests (private profiles)”If your profile visibility is set to private (Settings → Privacy), nobody can follow you instantly — each follow becomes a request you approve. The requester’s button shows Requested until you decide.
- Go to Settings → Connections.
- Review the people who asked to follow you.
- Click Accept or Decline on each.
About you
Section titled “About you”Settings → Profile → Play presence also has a short bio, pronouns, languages you play in, your timezone, and a rough availability (days / times of day + an optional note). These appear on your public profile so people can tell if you’re a fit.
Make it your space
Section titled “Make it your space”Settings → Profile → Make it yours lets you author how your profile looks:
- Accent theme — pick a colour theme; your whole profile page (not the rest of the app) recolours to match.
- Identity card — set a custom headline, tagline and tags for the big card, and optionally upload your own card art (otherwise it uses your cover, then your avatar).
- Links — add up to 8 links (website, X, Discord, itch, YouTube…);
they show on your profile.
https://only. - Sections — drag to reorder the side sections (Characters, Games, Network, Endorsements, Reviews, Outposts) and toggle any you’d rather hide. Your Wall always stays the main column.
Changes show to anyone who can see your profile (private/blocked viewers still see nothing).
Followers, following & friends
Section titled “Followers, following & friends”Click the followers count on any profile to open a list with Followers, Following, and Friends tabs. Friends are mutual follows — you each follow the other. If you’re allowed to DM someone (see Privacy), a Message button appears on their profile.
Endorsements
Section titled “Endorsements”Once you’ve shared a confirmed game with someone, an Endorse button appears on their profile. An endorsement is a short public vouch (“great roleplayer, always prepared”) shown in their Endorsements section. You can remove yours anytime by clicking Endorsed.
Moderating your wall
Section titled “Moderating your wall”On your own wall you can pin a post to the top, delete your posts, and delete any comment someone leaves on them — open the post’s ⋯ menu, or hover a comment for the delete control.
Blocking & reporting
Section titled “Blocking & reporting”Every profile has a ⋯ menu (next to Follow):
- Block — they can no longer follow you, see your wall, DM, or @mention you; you stop following each other (re-following later is possible after unblock — follows aren’t auto-restored). Unblock from their profile.
- Report — sends a report to PostRoll staff. Blocking is usually the fastest way to stop unwanted contact.
