Tour of the app

Everything in PostRoll hangs off two things: the sidebar on the left and the command palette under your fingertips. Here’s the lay of the land.

The sidebar

On desktop it’s a slim rail of icons down the left edge; on mobile, swipe right or tap the menu button to open the same navigation as a drawer.

  • Dashboard — your landing page at a glance: a greeting, quick actions, upcoming sessions, recent content, and who’s online now.
  • PLAY — Rooms (your campaigns and sessions), Scenes (playable maps), Worlds (your settings and lore), and Tokens.
  • CREATE — Boards (infinite canvases), Actors (characters and monsters), Decks, and Collections.
  • SOCIAL — Posts, Chat, and Outposts (creator communities).
  • LIBRARY — Library, Shared (things shared with you), Assets (your uploads), and the Marketplace.

At the bottom of the rail you’ll also find Search, a Quick Create button (jump straight into a new World, Board, Actor, Scene, Room, Collection, or Card), your Profile, Settings, theme and sound toggles, and Sign Out.

The command palette

Press Cmd+K (Mac) or Ctrl+K (Windows/Linux) anywhere — or tap Search in the sidebar — to open the Search or jump to… palette. From one box you can:

  • Jump to any page in the app.
  • Find your stuff — worlds, rooms, boards, actors, scenes, cards, wiki pages, assets, and more, with your recent items surfaced first.
  • Narrow the hunt with filters: type:actor to limit by kind, tag:npc or #npc for tags, in:recents for recent items, and "exact phrase" for exact matches.

Notifications

The bell in the floating controls on the right edge opens your notifications — invites, mentions, session reminders, and more. Tune what you’re told about (and where) in notification preferences.

Settings

Open Settings from the bottom of the sidebar to manage your account, appearance, privacy, and billing. Your public-facing details live under Profile.
