Collections
A collection is a shelf you fill with anything you’ve made. Session prep, a campaign bible, your favourite NPCs, the maps you keep reaching for — gather them once and they’re a click away.
Collections live under Create → Collections in the sidebar.
What can go in one
Section titled “What can go in one”Almost anything you own, in any mix:
- Worlds, wiki pages, and entities (your people, places, and factions)
- Scenes, boards, and rooms
- Actors, tokens, and cards
- Assets — your uploaded art and files
That mix is the point. One collection can hold a world, three maps, a handful of NPCs, and the handout art for Saturday’s session.
Items are pointers, not copies
Section titled “Items are pointers, not copies”Adding something to a collection doesn’t duplicate it and doesn’t move it. The collection just points at the original, so the same scene can sit in five collections at once and still be the one scene you edit.
Take an item out — or delete the whole collection — and the original is untouched. It stays exactly where you made it.
How it’s different from…
Section titled “How it’s different from…”- Your Content Library — published reference works (rulebooks, the SRD) that you read but never edit. A collection is your own stuff, gathered by you.
- A world — a world is where your lore actually lives, and everything inside belongs to it. A collection owns nothing; it reaches across worlds, and across things that have no world at all.
Types and covers
Section titled “Types and covers”When you make a collection you pick a type — Personal, Session, Campaign, or Reference. It’s a label for your own sorting; it doesn’t change how the collection behaves. You can also give it a description, tags, and a cover image, all of which show on the collection’s card in the browser.
Collections are yours
Section titled “Collections are yours”Your collections list shows only the ones you own, and only you can open them.
