Slash commands

Type / in the composer to open the slash-command popover. Arrow keys navigate; Enter picks. Each command’s argument hint shows on the right.

Command Args What it does
/me <action> Italicised emote — Aerin draws her bow.
/shrug [trailing text] Append ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
/r <notation> [flavor] Roll dice as a card
/roll-table <table name> Roll on any of your saved roll tables (any world)
/help Show the command reference inline
/scene <scene name> Transition the linked room to a scene (GM)
/init Post a live initiative tracker (GM)
/gm <message> GM-only message — invisible to players (GM)
/seal <message> Sealed lore reveal — placeholder for non-GMs (GM)
/w @user <message> Whisper to a single channel member (GM)
/rs <notation> [flavor] Secret roll — only GMs see the result (GM)

GM-only commands require the Manage messages permission in the channel — they’re listed for visibility but won’t dispatch for non-GMs.

  • Type to filter. Once the popover is open, typing narrows the list.
  • Args are quoted-aware. /scene "The Crumbling Bridge" keeps the spaces intact.
  • Prefix-resolution. /roll-table and /r are different commands; the popover resolves the longer match.
