Creating & managing a room
A room is one table: your party, your sessions, your chat, your campaign record. You create it from Your Rooms and manage it from there too.
Create a room
Section titled “Create a room”-
Go to Your Rooms and click + Create Room.
-
Give it a Room Name (required) and, if you like, a Description.
-
Set a Seat capacity — the maximum number of players for paid seat or campaign-arc purchases. Leave it blank for no cap; you can change it later.
-
Add cover art under Upload Room Image. Drag in a PNG, JPG or WEBP (up to 15 MB), paste a link with Use URL, or pick something you already own with Choose from library. The cover becomes the hero at the top of your room and tints the whole page.
-
Under Add Users to Room, search by username, hit Search, then Add. Each person gets a role — Player, Observer or GM — and you appear at the top marked You with a GM chip.
-
Click Create.
Your new room arrives with a General folder and ten channels ready to go: General, Game Log, Transcript, Rules, Notes, Schedule, In Character, Lore, Downtime and GM Notes. GM Notes is private to your GMs.
Change a room’s settings
Section titled “Change a room’s settings”The Edit panel covers:
- Name and Description.
- Seat capacity.
- Allow public observers — anyone can preview your table, and your live sessions appear on the feed’s live-games rail. Viewers join read-only: they watch, never touch. Individual sessions can override this.
- World — bind the table’s campaign to a world to unlock its wiki, boards and the shared chronicle in this room. The list only offers worlds you own.
- Cover image.
Save changes confirms with “Room updated.”
Duplicate a room
Section titled “Duplicate a room”Duplicate, in the same Details panel, makes a new room called “… (Copy)”. It brings the description, cover image, seat capacity, the public observers setting, and the room’s folders and channels. The channels start empty and you’re the only member. The world link comes along if you own that world.
Delete a room
Section titled “Delete a room”Delete in the Details panel, owner only. It’s permanent: all room content is removed and there’s no undo. The rooms list is always newest-first, with no search or filters, so a long-dead table just drifts to the bottom.
