My Maps library

My Foundry Maps is your library of generated maps. Every map you save keeps its exact seed and settings, so you can pick any of them back up and keep working. Reach it two ways:

  • From the sidebar — click Map Foundry to open the full gallery of your maps.
  • Inside the Foundry — click the library icon in the top bar to re-open a map without leaving the editor.
  • Maps you saved as a scene show up automatically.
  • Maps you kept — use Save current map at the top of the library to keep the map you’re working on without committing a full scene. Handy for parking a promising draft.
  1. Open your maps from the Map Foundry sidebar item (or the library icon inside the Foundry).
  2. Click a map (or Open in Foundry) to load it back into the Foundry exactly as it was — same terrain, same settings.
  3. Or use open a copy — same starting point, ready for you to change and save as a new map.

In the gallery, click a map to expand it, then click Details. The panel shows the map’s kind, size and seed, and links to the scene you saved it as.

  • Edit — type a new name and click Save changes.
  • Duplicate — adds a copy called “… (Copy)” to your library, with its own preview. Removing the original later leaves the copy as it is.
  • Remove — removing a map you saved as a scene only takes it out of this library; your scene is untouched. Removing a kept-only map deletes it for good.

Inside the Foundry, the library’s pencil icon renames a map (type a name, press Enter) and its trash icon removes one, with the same rules.

  • Save as scene — turn a map into a playable world-map scene.
  • Seeds & history — the recent-iterations strip and map codes.
  • Presets — reusable starting points (different from your saved maps).
