Billing issues
Most billing questions are answered in depth in Billing & subscription — this page just routes you to the right one fast.
I upgraded but my plan isn’t showing
Section titled “I upgraded but my plan isn’t showing”Premium features normally unlock within a couple of seconds of checkout. If they haven’t:
- Switch back to the PostRoll tab — the app re-checks your plan when you return to it (handy if checkout finished in another tab).
- Refresh the page.
- Open Settings → Billing and confirm the plan shown at the top. If it still says Starter a few minutes after a successful charge, email us (below) with your receipt.
My payment failed / it says “Past due”
Section titled “My payment failed / it says “Past due””Your plan isn’t cancelled yet — the charge is retried automatically, and updating your card usually fixes it on the next attempt. See Refunds & failed payments for the full timeline and what happens if retries keep failing.
I want a refund
Section titled “I want a refund”First paid subscriptions have a 14-day money-back guarantee — see Refunds & failed payments for eligibility and how to request one. If you just want to stop paying, cancelling keeps your access until the period ends at no extra cost.
I can’t switch from annual to monthly
Section titled “I can’t switch from annual to monthly”That’s by design: annual plans run until they renew, so monthly billing becomes available once your annual term ends. Switching tiers (and annual-to-annual changes) works any time — see Managing your subscription.
Where are my receipts?
Section titled “Where are my receipts?”Settings → Billing → Billing history lists every charge with a View link to the receipt.
Getting help
Section titled “Getting help”For anything involving a specific charge, email hello@postroll.app from the email on your account, with the date and amount. Please contact us before filing a bank chargeback — we can almost always resolve it faster directly.
