Editing your profile
Your profile is what other PostRoll users see on your public-profile page, your storefront (if you’ve enabled monetisation), and in places like the actor cast lists. Everything here is editable from a single form.
How to open it
Section titled “How to open it”You can reach the editor two ways:
- From settings: click your avatar at the bottom of the app sidebar, pick Settings, then Profile.
- From the public profile: click your avatar → Profile (this opens the public-profile page with the same form below).
Both surfaces edit the same record — pick whichever is closer to where you already are.
What you can edit
Section titled “What you can edit”- Display name — first and last name. Shown together as your public name. Optional.
- Username — your handle. Lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens; 3-32 characters. PostRoll checks availability as you type.
- Avatar — square image. The uploader crops and re-renders at several sizes; very large source images are downscaled before upload.
- Country — used to show timezone-appropriate event times and to scope marketplace search.
- GM / Player role — toggle either or both. GM unlocks the GM sections of your storefront; Player surfaces you in player-finder searches.
- Game systems — the systems you run or are interested in playing. Multi-select. Drives matchmaking and the system filter on listings.
- Interests — narrative tags, table-safety practices, vibes. Helps players find storytellers who fit how they want to play.
Changes save when you click Save. The success toast appears once the row is written.
