Refunds & failed payments
14-day money-back
Section titled “14-day money-back”If you’re not happy with your first paid subscription within 14 days, contact support and we’ll refund you in full.
How to request: email hello@postroll.app from the same email on your account. Include the date you subscribed and the plan you’re on (Booster or Collector). We’ll confirm eligibility and issue the refund through Stripe — it usually appears on your card within 5-10 business days.
The 14 days start from the date of your inaugural paid period. Resubscriptions after a prior paid period aren’t eligible (but you can cancel anytime and keep access until period end at no extra cost).
Failed payments
Section titled “Failed payments”If Stripe can’t charge your card on renewal, your subscription enters Past due state. Two things happen:
- A banner appears across the app — “Payment failed. Update your card to keep your subscription active.”
- Stripe automatically retries the charge over the following weeks on a smart schedule (typically 4 attempts).
Click the banner (or open Settings → Billing → Manage subscription) to update your card. As soon as a charge succeeds the banner disappears and full access resumes — no extra action needed.
What if I don’t update?
Section titled “What if I don’t update?”If all retries fail, the subscription auto-cancels. Your account reverts to Starter; your data is preserved indefinitely. You can resubscribe any time.
Notifications
Section titled “Notifications”You’ll get an in-app + email notification on each failed charge so you know what’s happening — these are not spam, they’re heads-ups before the auto-cancel.
Disputes / chargebacks
Section titled “Disputes / chargebacks”If you don’t recognise a charge and want to dispute it, please contact us first — we can usually resolve directly. Filing a chargeback through your bank without contacting support may result in your account being restricted while the dispute is reviewed.
