Audio & Music
Audio & Music sets the mood at your table: low ambience under a dungeon crawl, a swelling theme when the villain finally shows their face, a thunderclap timed to the slam of a door.
Where to find it
Section titled “Where to find it”Click the Audio button — the music-note icon in the controls on the right side of the app — to open the audio panel. It’s available almost anywhere in Postroll, and the icon pulses whenever something is playing.
The panel has tabs across the top — Layers, Pads, Library, Lists, Meters, and Spotify — and you can add tracks three ways:
- Upload file — bring in your own audio; uploads join the same library as your maps, tokens, and art.
- Add a track by link — paste a URL or a YouTube link.
- Library tab — pick from audio you’ve already uploaded and any music you’ve bought from the marketplace, with search and favourites. Purchased tracks show a Purchased tag; you can play them and use them in mixes and soundboards just like your own, but you can’t rename or delete them.
What’s included
Section titled “What’s included”- Starter — play tracks, build an audio library, and attach a soundtrack to the places in your world.
- Booster — the GM studio: soundboards for instant sound effects, mixes for layered soundscapes, and broadcasting audio to the whole table live.
- Collector — sell ambience, music, and sound-effect packs from your Outpost as the audio marketplace opens up.
