Tags & search

Tags are the loose, cross-cutting way to group pages — northern-reach, npc, session-notes — without moving anything in the folder tree.

Tagging a page

Open the right-hand rail on a wiki page (the Connections button down the right edge), type a tag, press Enter. Tags save straight away. Click the ✕ on a chip to remove it.

Filtering the tree by tag

The funnel icon inside the sidebar’s search box opens Filter by tags.

  • Tick as many tags as you like — chosen tags appear as chips under the search box, and the tree narrows to matching pages.
  • The Any / All switch decides whether a page needs one of your tags or all of them.
  • Search the tag list itself, Clear to drop every selection, Done to close.
  • Refresh re-reads the world’s tags — useful if you’ve been tagging in another tab.

You can also type # in the search box to get a tag list with a page count beside each one, and click to add it as a filter.

Renaming and deleting tags

The tag icon in the popover header opens Manage Tags, a two-tab dialog covering the whole world:

  • Tags — rename a tag (every page carrying it updates) or remove it entirely.
  • Pages — every page with its tags, so you can tidy several in one sitting.

Searching pages

The Search folders & pages… box at the top of the sidebar matches page titles and page text.

Type a term and press Enter. A results bar appears — 3 of 47 matches — with ‹ and › to step through them. Each step opens the page holding that match and scrolls to it, highlighted in yellow. The ✕ clears the search.

Searching by meaning

Semantic search finds passages that mean what you asked, even when they don’t use your words — “who knows about the sealed vault?” turns up the scene where a guard let it slip. It searches the world’s wiki, session transcripts and actors, and returns your own passages with a match percentage; it never writes anything new.

It needs Booster and has to be switched on in Settings → AI tools. Reach it at /app/worlds/<your world>/search.
