Inviting people
Groups are private by default. Invite people via a shareable link.
Create an invite link
Section titled “Create an invite link”- Open Group settings → Invites.
- Click Create invite link.
- Optional: set an expiry date (the link stops working after that), and / or a maximum uses cap.
- Copy the link with the Copy button.
Send the link via your preferred channel (DM, email, social).
What clicking the link does
Section titled “What clicking the link does”- If the recipient isn’t signed in, they’re prompted to sign in or create a PostRoll account first.
- They land on a redeem page showing the group name and who invited them.
- On accept, they’re added to the group’s member list and walked through the new-member onboarding wizard. See Joining a group.
Revoke a link
Section titled “Revoke a link”In the same panel, every active invite shows its expiry, uses, and a Revoke button. Revoking a link makes it stop working immediately for anyone who hasn’t yet redeemed.
Permissions
Section titled “Permissions”Issuing and revoking invites needs the Manage invites permission. By default the Owner has it; grant to other roles via the role editor.
