Finding people

Find people is where you go looking for a table — or for people to fill yours. It’s in the sidebar under Social → People.

The box at the top matches on name, @username, and bio — so “dungeon” finds everyone who wrote it in their bio, not just people called Dungeon. Results update as you type.

Leave it empty and you’ll just browse everyone who’s discoverable.

Under the search box:

  • GMs and Players — the role badges people set on their own profile. Turn on both to find someone who does the two.
  • Looking for a game — only people who’ve flagged themselves as actively looking.
  • Systems — type what you play (5e, Daggerheart, …) to keep only people who listed it.

Then pick how to order what’s left:

  • Best match (the default) — people who share your systems and interests first, with a nudge for the well-followed.
  • Most followed, Newest, or A–Z.

Every filter you set is written into the page’s address. Once you’ve built a search you like — say, 5e GMs looking for a game — you can copy the link out of the address bar and hand it to someone. They’ll open the same list you were looking at.

Each result is a card with the person’s avatar, name, @username, bio, a GM badge if they run games, anything you have in common, and their follower count. Click Follow right on the card, or click their name to open their full profile first.

If someone’s profile is private, following sends a request instead — see Following & play presence.

Results come 24 at a time; hit Show more at the bottom for the next batch.

Only people whose profile is public and who’ve left themselves discoverable in their privacy settings. Anyone you’ve blocked — or who’s blocked you — is left out entirely, both ways.
