Creating & managing worlds

Every setting you build starts as a world. This page covers the world itself — making one, dressing it up, letting other people in, and removing it.

Worlds in the sidebar opens Your worlds: one card per world, showing its cover art, its name and the date you created it. A second tab, Shared worlds, holds the worlds other people have invited you into.

Click a card to expand it. You get the description, a View world button that takes you to the World Hub, and a Details button. Details opens a panel with Details, Edit, Share, Access and Delete tabs, and its Details tab also has Duplicate and Save for offline.

  1. Click + Create World.
  2. Type a World Name — the only thing that’s required.
  3. Optionally add a description, tags, and a cover image via Upload World Image.
  4. Click Create.

The gear icon in the Hub’s top bar opens World settings, where you can edit the Name, Description and Cover image, then hit Save changes. The Hub’s accent colour is drawn from your cover art, so a new cover restyles the whole world.

Only the world’s owner sees this section — collaborators can’t rename it or swap the cover. Tags live in the Edit panel on your worlds list rather than in World settings.

Open Manage sharing from World settings (or Details → Share on the world card) to invite people by email or create a share link. Access flows downhill: anything bound to the world — its boards, scenes, wiki and entities — comes with it.

See Sharing & permissions for roles, invites and link options.

In World settings, the Danger zone holds Delete world. The confirmation spells out the stakes — the world “and everything in it will be permanently deleted. This can’t be undone” — and you confirm with Delete world. There’s no undo and no trash, so export anything you want to keep first.
