Sealed messages
A sealed message is the GM’s way of committing to a piece of information players will see later. Players see a sealed envelope placeholder (“Aerin posted something sealed”) in the feed; only the GM and the message sender can see the actual content. When the GM unseals, the message flips to public and everyone sees it.
When to use it
Section titled “When to use it”- Prophecy. Drop the prophecy now so players see it land in the feed at the right narrative moment, but you still control the reveal.
- Forewarning. Pre-write a result you know is coming so it feels timed and inevitable when it lands.
- Hidden lore. Post the secret backstory of an NPC; reveal when it becomes canon to the players.
Seal a message
Section titled “Seal a message”/seal The wolf was Aerin's brother all along.The post lands as a sealed-envelope placeholder for everyone except the GM and yourself.
Reveal it
Section titled “Reveal it”Right-click the sealed message and pick Reveal. The bubble flips to its full content for every viewer in real time.
Permissions
Section titled “Permissions”Sealing requires the Send messages permission (anyone can seal).
Revealing requires the Manage messages permission — typically the GM tier.
