Wrap text in ||double pipes|| to mark it as a spoiler. The
recipient sees a blurred chip; clicking reveals the text.
Examples

- Plot reveals in a play-by-post channel where some players may not have caught up yet.
- Saving throw outcomes the GM doesn’t want anyone reading over your shoulder before the moment plays out.
- Lore beats you want to commit to without fully advertising.
What spoilers don’t do
Section titled “What spoilers don’t do”- They aren’t encryption — anyone who clicks sees the text.
- They aren’t permission-gated — everyone with access to the
message can reveal them. Use
/sealif you need the GM to control reveal timing. See Sealed messages. - They don’t apply to images or other inline content. Wrap only
text inside
||…||.
