Covers & page view

Every wiki page opens under a wide cover image with the page title laid over it. Until you set one, pages use a default forest scene — swapping it for something of your own is the fastest way to make a world feel like yours.

Changing the cover

The controls sit in a rounded strip on the cover itself — top right on desktop, bottom right on phones.

  1. Click the image icon (Change cover image).
  2. Either click the upload panel to pick a file, or drag an image straight onto it.
  3. Or skip the image entirely and click one of the twelve solid colour swatches — a clean band of colour reads well behind a long title.
  4. The x button beside the swatches clears the cover and puts the default back.

Collapse, expand, fullscreen

  • The chevron at the end of the strip toggles Collapse cover / Expand cover — collapsed gives you a slim band and more room to read; expanded gives you the full picture.
  • The arrows button toggles View Fullscreen / Exit Fullscreen, filling the screen with the page and hiding everything else. It’s a desktop control; it isn’t shown on phones.

The same strip also holds the button that opens the details panel and the one that starts a PDF export.

Resizing the view

On desktop the wiki is a page tree on the left and the page on the right. Drag the divider between them to give either side more room — the tree can take from a sixth to about two fifths of the width. The thin strip at the left edge of the page collapses the tree entirely (Collapse sidebar / Expand sidebar) for the widest reading column. The details panel opens to a fixed width on the right.

On a phone

Only one thing is on screen at a time. The page tree becomes a drawer: tap the Menu tab on the left edge or swipe in from the edge to open it, and swipe left, tap outside, or press Esc to close. The details panel behaves the same way from the right.

Worlds have covers too

The cover art for the world itself — the one behind the World Hub — is set from the Hub rather than from a page. See Creating & managing worlds.
