Button grid
A button grid is a set of labelled buttons you can lay out in a row or a block. Use it as a control panel on a page you keep open at the table — a character’s common actions, a shop’s stock, a monster’s attacks.
Adding one
Section titled “Adding one”Type /buttons and pick Button Grid. You get three buttons to start with, labelled One, Two and Three — rename them and they’re yours.
Editing a button
Section titled “Editing a button”Each button has a small settings control on it. Open it and you can set:
- Label — what the button says
- Dice notation — for example
1d20+3. Give a button a notation and clicking it rolls those dice. Leave it blank and the button is purely decorative. - Icon — opens the icon picker
- Colour — a grid of solid and gradient swatches
- Size — override this one button’s size (H·S, H·L, V·S, V·L), or Reset to follow the block
- Delete — removes the button, after a confirmation
Below the buttons is a + Add tile: click it, type a label, and a new button appears.
Rearranging
Section titled “Rearranging”Above the buttons is an Enable reorder button. Turn it on and you can drag the buttons into whatever order you like; turn it off (Disable reorder) when you’re done so ordinary clicks work normally again.
Block options
Section titled “Block options”The rest lives on the block’s ⋮⋮ drag-handle menu, under Button Grid:
- Layout: row / Layout: grid — click to flip between a single row and a wrapped grid.
- Size — cycles through Horizontal Small, Horizontal Large, Vertical Small and Vertical Large for every button at once.
- Columns and Rows — + and − to change how many the grid is laid out in.
- Add button — asks for a label and appends a button, same as the + Add tile.
