Marketplace & purchases

The marketplace is the buyer’s side of PostRoll: find a table to join, pick up ready-to-run content, and support the creators behind it. Everything you buy lands in one place — My purchases.

Find a game to join

The game marketplace lists paid and free games run by GMs. Anyone can browse — no account needed until you book. You can:

  • Search free-text — system, theme, GM name, vibe.
  • Filter with chips: Free, Starting this week, format (One-shot / Mini-series / Campaign / Weekly), booking style (Instant book / Application / Free RSVP), and Group of 2–6+ when you’re booking with friends.
  • Sort by Recommended, Starting soon, Newest, Top rated, or price.

There are also quick collections — free games, games this weekend, learn-to-play tables — and a Find my table matchmaker at postroll.app/games/match: describe the game you want in plain words and it surfaces the closest real listings.

Browse the marketplace

The marketplace gathers ready-to-use content from every public Outpost shop into one catalogue — staff picks, what’s new, and a shelf per category. Click Browse everything for the full catalogue with search, filters, and sorting, or jump straight to a category:

Each category page keeps the same search and filters as the full catalogue, so you can narrow within a category. There’s also a Free to claim shelf for content that costs nothing.

Free content

Free products show Add to library — Free instead of a buy button. Click it and the content lands in your library straight away — no checkout. You’ll need to sign in first; signed-out visitors see Sign in to claim.

Shop an Outpost

Outposts are creator communities, and many have a Shop tab. That’s where you buy digital downloads (PDFs, maps, art, audio), ready-to-play content (worlds, scenes, boards, token and card packs), game seats, and event tickets. Browse them from Outposts in the app. Prefer ongoing support? Outposts also offer supporter memberships.

How buying works

  1. Click Buy now on a product, Buy ticket on an event, or Book seat on a game listing.
  2. Pay through Stripe’s secure checkout. Your card details stay with Stripe — PostRoll never sees them.
  3. Stripe emails you a receipt, and the purchase appears in My purchases right away. Tickets and seats add you to the event or the GM’s room automatically.

If a game takes applications, you only pay after the GM approves you — the approval notification links straight to checkout.

Report a product

Spotted something that shouldn’t be on sale — spam, hateful content, something illegal? Every product page has a Report this product link. Pick the closest category, add any detail that helps, and click Submit report. The Outpost’s moderators see your report first; they can resolve it directly or escalate it to PostRoll staff if it needs wider attention.
