Paid seats

Some tables charge. A GM lists a game, players pay for a place, and buying drops them into the room as a player.

Open the room’s Schedule tab. If the table sells seats, a Join this game panel appears with a capacity line — 4 of 6 seats taken — and a button that depends on where you stand:

  • Buy seat or Subscribe — you’re not in yet.
  • You’re in — you already hold a seat.
  • Sold out — no places left.
  • Manage subscription — for a recurring pass you already hold.
  • Details — opens the full listing.

No panel at all means this room doesn’t sell seats — nothing has gone wrong.

After paying you’ll see “Finalizing your seat — this usually takes a few seconds.” If someone beat you to the last place: “No seats available right now. Try again in a few minutes — another buyer may release theirs.”

Seats are listed from your Outpost, under ListingsNew listing.

  1. Pick a format: One-shot, Mini-series, Campaign, or Weekly seat.

  2. Set a Price per seat.

  3. Turn on Play room“Players auto-join this VTT room on purchase.” — and either Create a new room or Use existing room.

Publishing a paid listing needs monetisation switched on and your Stripe Connect onboarding finished.

From there: you list, a player buys, they join the room as a player, and they get a notification — “You’re booked in. Look out for the room link from your GM before the session starts.”

When a room has at least one paid seat, GMs get a Cancel & refund control — “Auto-refunds 3 paid players and removes them from the room.” Refunds usually land in 5–10 business days.
