Threads tab
The Threads tab in a conversation’s details panel lists every thread in the channel — anything where someone replied in-thread to a parent message — sorted by most recent activity.
Open the tab
Section titled “Open the tab”Open the details panel from the chat header (the right-pane in fullscreen mode, or a drawer in embedded / mobile). Switch to the Threads tab — its icon is a cascading reply reel, sat between Pinned and Files.
What you see
Section titled “What you see”Each row shows:
- Avatar + username of the person who started the thread (the OP).
- Preview of the root message (first couple of lines).
- Reply count and last activity time.
Rows are sorted by the timestamp of the most recent reply, so threads people are still discussing surface at the top.
Open a thread
Section titled “Open a thread”Click any row to slide the thread panel in from the right — the same panel you get when clicking the N replies → affordance under a root message in the feed. Replies post into the thread exactly as before; see Threads.
How it stays current
Section titled “How it stays current”The list refreshes when new replies land. Threads also disappear from this view if every reply gets deleted (the root with no remaining replies stops counting as a thread).
