Secret rolls

A secret roll posts a dice card only you and the GM can see. Everyone else sees “Aerin made a secret roll” in the feed, but not the value.

Useful for:

  • Perception checks — players shouldn’t know whether they succeeded or failed before the GM narrates the result.
  • Saving throws against effects they don’t know about — preserve the surprise.
  • GM-side rolls like NPC stealth or initiative the players shouldn’t see.
/rs 1d20+5 stealth
/rs 2d6 damage

Same syntax as /r, just /rs. The flavour text shows in the GM view; the placeholder players see is generic.

Anyone with the Manage messages permission in the channel. That’s typically the Owner and the Game Master role; mods and players don’t have it by default. See Channel permissions.
