Your first session as a player

Your GM sent you a link. Here’s everything between that link and the end of your first game night, in order.

  1. Join the room. Open the invite link and sign in (or create an account) — access is granted automatically and you land in your table’s room. Join a game covers stale links and direct invites too.

  2. RSVP to the next session. The next-session banner has one-tap Going / Maybe / Can’t buttons, and everyone sees the live tally. People who RSVP get reminders before the game — see your room hub.

  3. Bring your character. On the room’s Overview tab, choose Add your character and pick one of your actors — or create one first under Actors in the sidebar. Actors & tokens explains sheets and tokens; cards on the character sheet shows how spells and gear attach.

  4. Warm up in chat. The room’s Chat tab is open between sessions — say hello, try a roll with /r 1d20+5, or post as your character with in-character mode. Start with dice rolls in chat and the chat overview.

  5. Play the session. On game night, click Enter Play to reach the live table: your GM’s map, your token, and 3D dice. Get your bearings with the virtual tabletop overview, roll from the dice roller, and play attached spells and abilities with one click — cards at the table shows how they resolve.

  6. See what the night left behind. The room’s Chronicle collects session recaps and the Transcript keeps memorable spoken lines — pin the best ones to the quotes wall (your room hub, transcripts). And every roll you made is now in the Dice Lab, scored for luck.
