Your Content Library
The Library is home to published reference content — rulebooks and reference works from the marketplace. Open it from Library in the app sidebar.
Your Library is different from your Worlds:
- Worlds are yours to edit. Wikis, entities, maps — you write them.
- Library content is published and read-only. You can browse it, search it, and link to it, but the text itself never changes under you.
What’s in the Library
Section titled “What’s in the Library”- My library — works you’ve added, free or purchased.
- Free to add — published works anyone can add with one click, like the 5e System Reference Document.
Open any work to browse its contents: chapters and categories on the left, pages on the right, with previous/next links to read in order. Use the search box in the sidebar to find anything inside the work — spells, monsters, rules, items.
Using Library content in your game
Section titled “Using Library content in your game”Library pages are made to be referenced:
- Link from your wiki — type
[[in any wiki page and pick an entry from the Reference group (or typesrd:to search only reference content). Hovering the link shows a preview card. - Copy a link — every page has a stable address you can paste into chat, session notes, or handouts.
Purchases vs. Library
Section titled “Purchases vs. Library”Receipts, refunds, and booked seats live in Purchases. The Library is where the content itself opens. A purchased rulebook shows in both — “Open in Library” takes you from the receipt to the book.
