Voice on a phone
On a phone, voice is voice-first: a bar at the bottom-left of the map with big targets, and no video tiles over the map.
The voice bar
Section titled “The voice bar”- Join voice is a single pill until you’re in.
- Then: Mic (hold it to talk in push-to-talk mode — it’s a real hold-to-talk button, with a little haptic tick), Camera, ⋯ (opens the same options as on desktop, as a sheet) and Leave.
- Amber pills — Reconnecting…, Deafened, Tap to enable audio — appear above the row when they apply.
Faces aren’t drawn over the map on a phone. Whoever is talking still gets a ring on their token, and the Players tab shows who is in voice.
What a phone can’t do
Section titled “What a phone can’t do”- Pick a speaker / output device (browsers on phones don’t allow it).
- Share its screen.
- Show video tiles over the map — by design, to keep the map usable.
