Multiple personas

If you control more than one character in a world — a PC and a henchman, the GM running multiple NPCs, a player whose summoned creature acts independently — switch between them mid-session from the persona pill.

The persona dropdown lists every actor you own in the active world. Pick one to post as that character; pick another to switch. The dropdown remembers each conversation’s last pick separately so you can keep separate “voices” in separate channels.

GMs typically have an actor for each major NPC. Switching the persona pill to that NPC and posting in #table-chat produces a clean in-character utterance from the NPC, complete with portrait swap. No need to type “Tavernkeeper:” prefixes — the bubble does the framing.

This pairs well with secret rolls — roll the NPC’s perception in /rs, post their reaction in IC under their portrait.

The persona switches on the next message you send. To change mid-sentence, send what you have, switch, then continue. The bubbles stay clearly attributed because each is its own message.
