Pages & folders
The page tree down the left of the wiki holds everything in the world. Pages sit inside folders, folders can nest, and you drag things around freely.
The + button
Section titled “The + button”The round + at the bottom of the tree opens the create menu:
| Option | What it does |
|---|---|
| New Page | Adds a page and opens it straight away |
| New Folder | Opens the Create new folder dialog |
| New Map | Creates a map and adds it to the tree as a page |
| New Board | Creates a board and adds it to the tree as a page |
| Add Existing | Pulls something you already own into this wiki |
| Import Pages | Turns Markdown, HTML, text or Word files into pages |
| Add Frames | Picks frames off one of your boards; each becomes a page |
See Importing content for the import flow and Pages as maps & boards for map and board pages.
Creating a folder
Section titled “Creating a folder”- Open the + menu and pick New Folder.
- Fill in Folder name.
- Optionally add a Description (optional).
- Optionally tick Create an overview page for this folder.
- Click Create.
An overview page is a landing page for the folder — a place for the introduction to a region, a faction roster, a house style guide. Once a folder has one, right-clicking the folder offers Open folder overview. Drop an Index block on it and the overview keeps itself in step with the folder’s contents.
Every page and folder can carry an icon. Click the icon to the left of its name to open the picker, search for one, and click it. It shows up everywhere the page appears — the tree, breadcrumbs, and index listings.
Reordering and moving
Section titled “Reordering and moving”Drag a page or folder by its row:
- Within a folder — drop it above or below its neighbours to reorder.
- Onto a folder — drops it inside that folder.
- Out to the top level — drop it among the root items.
The order you set is the order readers see, and the order the breadcrumb bar’s next/previous arrows follow.
Renaming, duplicating and deleting
Section titled “Renaming, duplicating and deleting”Right-click any page or folder for Rename, Share / Copy link, Export to PDF…, More options… and Delete. Full detail on the options panel is in Page options.
Deleting a page asks “Delete page?” first — it’s permanent. Deleting a folder asks “Delete folder?” and warns you that pages inside it move to uncategorised rather than being deleted with it.
Tidying the tree
Section titled “Tidying the tree”At the top of the tree:
- Expand all / Collapse all — one click to open or close every folder.
- Export wiki to PDF — publishes the whole wiki as a book, see Export to PDF.
- Close sidebar — hides the tree on smaller screens; swipe from the left edge to bring it back.
Page limits
Section titled “Page limits”Starter worlds hold up to 20 wiki pages. When you hit the cap, creating a page offers an upgrade instead. Both Booster and Collector remove the limit entirely.
