Sell on Outposts
Everything you sell on PostRoll flows through an Outpost — your community space with a shop, memberships, and game listings attached. This is the setup order that works, with each stage’s deep-dive linked.
-
Create your Outpost. Pick a name, a slug, and a type — Creator Studio or Publisher fit most sellers — and choose its visibility. Ownership needs Booster or above. Creating an Outpost walks through it; the slug and type are permanent, so choose with care.
-
Work the setup checklist. A “Welcome to your outpost” panel on your Feed tab lists the five steps that make a fresh space feel alive — banner, About blurb, and type-specific moves like listing a product. It ticks itself off as you go — see your setup checklist.
-
Connect Stripe. In your Outpost’s Settings → Monetisation, pick your country (permanent) and complete Stripe’s onboarding — Stripe handles payments and payouts, PostRoll takes a small platform fee. When charges and payouts are both live, flip Enable monetisation. Connecting Stripe covers the account states.
-
Stock your shop. List digital downloads — adventures, art packs, audio — from the Shop tab with Add product: name, price, currency, files, publish. Selling products has the details, and content packs covers bundles of PostRoll-native content.
-
Open supporter memberships. Recurring monthly or yearly tiers, each minting a managed role you can point at gated channels, posts, and products. Tiers need Collector — see membership tiers.
-
List your games. If you run paid tables, a game listing is the page players book from — set the format, price, and room, and the selling machinery is wired up for you. Paid listings need Collector plus live Stripe; game listings has the prerequisites.
-
Watch the numbers. The Admin → Analytics dashboard rolls up shop sales, supporter tiers, and engagement — per-currency takings, MRR, churn, top products. See the analytics dashboard.
